Mihir Kumar

Mihir is responsible for creating innovation that grows the fanbase, improves the on-field product, and drives an increase in enterprise value for Major League Soccer and its associated properties. Additionally, he is responsible for all activity related to strategic investment including sourcing, conducting due diligence, advising portfolio companies, and developing the League's investment strategy. Before joining MLS, Mihir was a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group where he worked on a variety of sports and media strategy and development projects. Prior to that, he worked at Overtime helping launch and scale Overtime Elite and evaluating corporate development opportunities for the core media business. He began his career at AQR Capital Management, a quant investment firm, in business development and strategy. Mihir received a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University, where he was a student-athlete on the men's tennis team, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
