Charlie Sungho Shin is a seasoned sports executive with over 20+ years of experience in customer growth strategy, life-cycle marketing, digital & media, CRM, KPI management, analytics, and MarTech innovations across various industries. He joined Indianapolis Colts in 2021 and currently serves as Vice President of Analytics & Digital Innovation. In this position, he oversees strategic commercial business planning, data analytics, digital marketing & media, and technology innovation. Before joining the Colts, Charlie was Vice President of Strategy & Analytics at MLS in NYC since 2006 where he established the foundation for the league’s enterprise-wide CRM strategy and centralized MarTech infrastructure across the League and clubs. Charlie was also a senior business consultant at IBM Business Consulting Service and PwC Consulting for over six years managing various projects related to corporate strategy, CRM strategy, KPI management, customer segmentation, and new business model development. In addition to his current role at the Colts, he serves as an adjunct faculty at New York University’s graduate program for Integrated Marketing and Columbia University’s Sports Management graduate program. Charlie holds a BA in Business Administration from Yonsei University and an MA in Sports Business from NYU.
