Brandon D. Williams

Brandon D. Williams joined GwC to co-lead of its new Sports, Entertainment & Technology (SET) team. Brandon’s practice covers a wide range of issues, from amateur NIL matters to the intersection of tech with sports and entertainment, across fintech, digital health, and other tech-enabled businesses.   Brandon brings a wealth of experience both on and off the court. As a professional basketball player, he won a CBA championship with Sioux Falls Skyforce and an NBA championship with the San Antonio Spurs and played in numerous international leagues. After retiring, he worked for nearly a decade with the NBA League Office, became the General Manager of the NBA G-League’s Delaware 87ers, served as Vice President of Basketball Administration with the Philadelphia 76ers, and joined the Sacramento Kings as Assistant General Manager and, later, as an On-Air Analyst.   Directly prior to GwC, Brandon’s career lead him to be Executive Vice President and Head of Basketball Operations at Overtime Elite, where he oversaw all aspects of League and Team Operations, drafted and negotiated contracts, and conducted global employee searches as he helped develop a transformative league.
