Ahron currently serves as the Founder & CEO of Polar Sun Ventures, an advisory and strategy consulting firm primarily focused in the sports, media, entertainment and emerging technology sectors. Within this capacity, Ahron has led consulting projects for a wide range of clients, including global sports properties, family offices of NFL and NBA ownership groups, Web3 sports platforms, early-stage sports-adjacent technology enterprises, and institutional/family office investors pursuing sports investment opportunities. In addition, Ahron serves as a Venture Partner with ADvantage VC. Previously Ahron led the Arizona Coyotes organization as its President, CEO and Alternate Governor. During his tenure, he was the youngest CEO out of the Big 5 men’s U.S. professional sports leagues. While serving as CEO of the Coyotes, the club posted record-setting results in every major business metric, including franchise-record increases in ticket sales, corporate sponsorships, premium seating, merchandise, food & beverage and TV ratings. The organization was widely recognized as a best-in-class franchise for fan experience, including a top 3 ranking in the NHL by J.D. Power & Associates for overall customer satisfaction results. He also closed the largest non-naming rights corporate sponsorship in franchise history, and the Coyotes posted the largest percentage increase in sponsorship revenues among all NHL clubs. Under Ahron's leadership, the club raised a philanthropic franchise-record of $3.4 million contributed back to the Arizona community. For his involvement in the Arizona community, Ahron was named as the 2019 recipient of the Anti-Defamation League's Torch of Liberty Award. He was also named to the Sports Business Journal's 40 Under 40 list in 2020, the Phoenix Business Journal's 40 Under 40 list in 2019, and the 2019 Phoenix Business Journal's Businessperson of the Year finalist in 2019. Ahron attended law school at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and served as an Editor of the Law Review. Prior to law school, he attended Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, where he was a four-year letter winner on the varsity football team and earned All-American honors by the National Strength & Conditioning Association. In his senior year, Cohen helped lead the Polar Bears football team to its best record since 1970.
