Victor Cui

Biography

Victor is recognised as one of the most influential figures in the world of sports, both in Asia and globally, for having built the ONE Championship in to a global powerhouse over the last 7 years. ONE Championship is Asia’s largest sports media property, and is broadcast to over 1.7 billion viewers across 138 countries. Headquartered in Singapore, the company is backed by Sequioa Capital, with a valuation of over $1 billion.

As CEO of ONE Championship, Victor is regularly featured in publications like the New York Times, Forbes, CNN and China Daily. His 25+ years of sports industry expertise makes him one of the most sought after keynote speakers at conferences worldwide.Prior to launching ONE Championship, Cui spent six years with Asia’s number one sports broadcaster, ESPN Star Sports (ESS). There, he successfully spearheaded their business development across Asia, and project-led some of the biggest sporting properties and event partnerships in the region.

Prior to ESS, he served as the Director of Communications for the PGA Tour, and also served as the Managing Editor for Canada’s number one golf publication during that same period. Throughout his career, Cui has played invaluable roles with the likes of the Commonwealth Games, the Sydney Olympics, the World Championships and the X Games.
