Charlie Sungho Shin is a seasoned sports executive with over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, growth strategy, life-cycle marketing, CRM, marketing performance measurement, data analytics, and marketing technology across various industries.
He joined Indianapolis Colts in 2021 and currently serves as Vice President of Strategy & Analytics. In this role, he oversees the organization wide strategic planning, go-to-market strategy, business analytics initiatives, CRM operations and technology innovation.
Prior to joining the Colts, Charlie was Vice President of Strategy & Analytics at MLS in NYC since 2006 where he established the foundation for league’s enterprise-wide CRM strategy and centralized marketing technology infrastructure across the League and clubs. Charlie was also a senior business consultant at IBM Business Consulting Service and PwC Consulting for over six years managing various projects related to corporate strategy, CRM strategy, performance marketing, customer segmentation and new business model development.
In addition to his current role at the Colts, he serves as an adjunct faculty at New York University’s graduate program for Integrated Marketing and Columbia University’s Sports Management graduate program. Charlie holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Yonsei University and an M.S. in Sports Business from New York University.
